These healthy brownies are super fudgy and delicious, and you can’t taste the avocado flavour at all! They can be whipped up in one bowl in just 30 minutes.
Makes: 8 brownies
Ingredients
- 1 large or 2 small (180 grams) avocados
- 100 grams natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup (50 grams) cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup (60 grams) sweetener or sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 (50 grams) banana, sub for an egg or greek yoghurt
- dark chocolate chips for topping
- peanut butter for topping
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
2. Add the avocado, egg and banana to a medium bowl and mash everything together. You can use a fork or a blender. Do not worry if your mixture is still a little bit chunky.

3. Add the cocoa powder, peanut butter and sugar/sweetener and mix everything together.

4. Transfer the batter to a small baking tray or loaf pan lined with baking paper. Spread the batter out evenly. Optionally, drizzle some more peanut butter on top and use a toothpick to make a swirl pattern. To make the peanut butter easier to spread, heat it in the microwave for a few seconds. Sprinkle the top with dark chocolate chips.

5. Bake for around 15 minutes. After baking, let the brownies cool until warm before slicing into 8 squares. Enjoy!
